The brushroll revolves at a very high speed, agitating carpet fibres in the process. This quality replacement motor rotates the brushroll to improve cleaning performance when cleaning floors or carpets.

If you find your brushroll is no longer rotating, then the motor may need replacing to restore optimum cleaning power.
